Do you have period problems like PCOS, uterine fibroids,

heavy menstrual cycles, PMS or PMDD?

This book is for you!

Knowledge is vital to living and feeling your best.

That's why we wrote Eating and Moving for Your Cycle!

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate menstruating people on how their bodies work to help them find their favorite version of themselves. We're passionate about this because many of us have never been taught the ins and outs of how our bodies work, making it difficult to make "healthy" decisions or advocate for yourself at doctors appointments.

Our Promise

We promise that we will never stop learning and will continue to modify our framework and education as new knowledge becomes available.

Our Origin Story

Heather and Kailee both started their businesses in 2019 and became quick friends!

It was at a coffee shop when Heather told Kailee a few fun facts about eating for hormone health. Kailee was blown away by the information and couldn’t stop thinking about these easy tips, and it was soon after that Kailee proposed they write a book to help share this valuable information with other people!

“Eating and Moving for Your Cycle” was born!

Over the past five years (and hundreds of peer-reviewed resources) later, so much has changed, but one thing that hasn’t is their continued dedication to evidence-based wellness.

They are so excited to share their final product with you!

Meet the Authors

Kailee Karst, DPT

Kailee has her doctorate in physical therapy and currently sees patients in her clinic in Richmond, Virginia.

Since writing the book she has taken a deep dive into anatomy and physiology (including manual therapy for conditions like PCOS, endometriosis and IBS) and loves pulling info from the book for her clients with PCOS, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding and period pain! After co-authoring “Eating and Moving for Your Cycle” and simultaneously working with clients in clinic, Kailee realized that most people just need a little (research based) guidance in order to feel better and reach their health goals.

This is why she started offering online personalized wellness sessions. These sessions emphasize working with you within your circumstances and environment to create sustainable lifestyle modifications to help facilitate healing and optimal health, and focus on the foundational health components.

Virtual personalized wellness offers a chance to dig deep and create patterns that will promote optimal health and well-being.

Informative but not overwhelming and fills in all the blanks about your menstrual cycle that we're never taught. Very excited to incorporate these practices after years of pelvic pain associated with my cycle and

finally balance my hormones!! Thank you thank you for sharing this information.

I’m buying a copy for all the gals in my life :)

This book could change how you approach period issues. This book is about how the menstrual cycle and nutrition and exercise can change your monthly experience in a positive way without medication. It is so informative and easy to read. The recommendations are clear and easy to follow. I wish I knew some of these tricks years ago to help with severe cramps, contraception and overall health.

I highly recommend a copy for any one who has a uterus.
